The core of the elevator

The work on the concrete lift core will also start this January. This lift core is built from below and “climbs” upwards through a chest. The floors that connect to this will follow afterwards. Because the core climbs up to 6 levels to the floors, construction work can be done a lot faster. This has the advantage that if there is a delay in the work of the floors, it is possible to continue building on the core and vice versa.

Recesses for the new elevators

A number of recesses will be made for the new lifts in the existing concrete core. These recesses are cut into existing concrete with diamond saws. This sawing work could cause noise pollution. In addition, incidental chopping will take place, which will be limited as much as possible due to noise pollution.
